Senior External Affairs Officer

About the role

The West Kowloon Cultural District Authority seeks a Senior External Affairs Officer to drive strategic partnerships, stakeholder engagement and outreach initiatives that enhance the Authority’s connections with government bodies, corporates, community organisations and other key partners.

Key responsibilities

• Support the development and implementation of strategic partnerships and outreach programmes.
• Coordinate with arts and cultural programme partners, District Councils, NGOs, corporate partners and professional bodies for public engagement and collaboration.
• Work with external agencies, vendors and community partners on PR, marketing and partnership initiatives.
• Assist in planning and executing corporate events, community programmes, delegation visits and brand‑building activities.
• Prepare corporate communications materials such as news summaries, presentations and press releases.
• Provide administrative and coordination support for the team’s daily operations.
• Lead ad‑hoc communications, engagement and partnership projects as required.
• Perform any other duties assigned by the Authority.

Required profile

• Recognised university degree in Public Relations, Journalism, Communications or a related field.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in corporate social responsibility, community engagement, public relations, events management, media relations or corporate communications.
• Proven experience engaging government bodies, District Councils, NGOs and community groups.
• Excellent written and spoken English and Chinese; Putonghua proficiency is an advantage.
• Ability to work irregular hours, including weekends and public holidays.
