Senior Finance Manager

About the role

We are looking for a highly analytical Senior Finance Manager to join our team on a project basis. The role balances day‑to‑day financial stability with the agility needed to drive strategic initiatives, acting as a bridge between rigorous financial controls and new business projects.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee monthly management accounts, variance analysis and financial packs for leadership.
• Supervise core finance functions (AP, AR, Payroll) ensuring smooth month‑end and year‑end closes.
• Maintain compliance with statutory requirements, tax filings and internal controls.
• Lead finance workstreams for projects such as system migrations, market expansions and product launches.
• Develop business cases, financial models and ROI tracking for new initiatives.
• Identify and implement process improvements and automation across finance workflows.
• Provide ad‑hoc financial modelling and deep‑dive analysis to support executive decisions.

Required profile

• Professional qualification: CA, CPA, ACCA, CIMA or MBA (Finance).
• 6‑8 years of progressive finance experience, preferably with Big 4 audit background and commercial exposure.
• Proven experience managing finance‑related projects (ERP implementation, M&A integration, process re‑engineering).
• Strong ability to switch between compliance focus and innovative project thinking.
• Excellent communication skills to translate financial data for non‑finance stakeholders.

Required skills

• Advanced Excel (pivot tables, lookups, complex modelling).
• Experience with major ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, NetSuite or Xero.
