Senior HR Business Partner – ASPAC Region

About the role

The Senior HR Manager, ASPAC serves as a strategic partner to regional leadership, reporting to the Vice President of HR, Greater China. The role aligns HR initiatives with business goals, drives talent acquisition, development, engagement and embeds Hyatt’s values across the Asia‑Pacific region.

Key responsibilities

• Implement and cascade Hyatt’s global people strategy across the ASPAC region, ensuring alignment with corporate priorities.
• Partner with HR Centers of Expertise to own the end‑to‑end employee experience, covering talent acquisition, talent management, learning & development and total rewards.
• Lead employer branding initiatives and manage recruitment channels to attract high‑quality talent.
• Drive talent reviews, succession planning and workforce planning to meet current and future talent needs.
• Oversee performance management rollout, talent mobility, and learning programs to foster a high‑performance culture.
• Collaborate with regional leadership on total‑rewards decisions, compensation philosophy communication and benefits enhancements.
• Champion Hyatt Ways of Working, support change‑management projects and enhance employee engagement and wellbeing initiatives.

Required profile

• Minimum 10 years of progressive HR experience, including HR business partnering in multinational organizations.
• Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s or MBA preferred.
• Proven ability to influence senior leaders, drive organizational change and manage multicultural teams.
• Fluency in English; additional regional languages are a plus.
• Strong analytical capabilities to leverage HR metrics for decision‑making.
• Exceptional communication, negotiation and conflict‑resolution skills.
