Senior Human Resources Officer

About the role

Marriott International is seeking a Senior Human Resources Officer to lead recruitment, onboarding, employee relations and daily HR operations. The role will also oversee learning and development initiatives, ensuring a seamless associate experience across the organization.

Key responsibilities

• Support recruitment, onboarding, employee relations and day‑to‑day HR operations.
• Provide guidance to associates and managers on HR policies, procedures and programs.
• Maintain employee records and ensure compliance with company policies and employment regulations.
• Coordinate and administer training programs, handling scheduling, logistics, attendance tracking and record‑keeping.
• Conduct new‑hire orientation and onboarding programs.
• Partner with department leaders to identify learning and development needs and support talent development initiatives.
• Monitor training completion, prepare reports and ensure compliance with mandatory training requirements.
• Support employee engagement activities and promote a culture of continuous learning.
• Assist with HR and organizational development projects as assigned.

Required profile

• Degree in Hotel Management, Human Resources Management or a related discipline.
• Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in Human Resources and/or Learning & Development.
• Strong interpersonal, communication and stakeholder‑management abilities.
• Well‑organized, detail‑oriented and capable of managing multiple priorities.
• Experience in the hospitality industry is an advantage.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
