Senior IT Support Engineer – Asia (Hong Kong)

About the role

The Senior IT Support Engineer will lead a small outsourced team and serve as the escalation point for workplace IT services across Asian offices, based in Hong Kong. The role combines hands‑on technical work with coordination of vendors, cybersecurity support and audit activities.

Key responsibilities

• Manage a small team of outsourced IT support specialists and act as escalation point for workplace support across Asian offices.
• Perform endpoint management, advanced troubleshooting, and OS support for Windows, mobile devices and other workplace equipment.
• Maintain asset inventory, CMDB and support the full lifecycle of hardware and software installations, imaging and upgrades.
• Coordinate with external vendors for warranty repairs and provide event AV and live‑stream support.
• Support cybersecurity initiatives, emergency patching, vulnerability remediation and audit activities.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in IT or related field with at least 2 years of relevant experience.
• Self‑motivated, results‑oriented and well‑organized with strong communication and reporting skills.
• Fluent in English and Putonghua; additional language skills are a plus.

Required skills

• Windows endpoint configuration, imaging and patch management.
• Microsoft Intune, SCCM, Autopilot and Entra ID device enrollment.
• Microsoft Defender for Endpoint, endpoint security policies and vulnerability remediation.
• Microsoft 365 administration, Active Directory user/computer management.
• Experience with virtual desktops, remote‑desktop tools and antivirus solutions.
• Ticketing systems such as JIRA, ManageEngine or ServiceNow; familiarity with ITIL processes.
