Senior Learning Designer

About the role

lululemon is seeking a Senior Learning Designer to join its APAC Learning & Leadership team in Hong Kong. The role will design and deliver strategic learning solutions for retail and Store Support Center teams across the region, supporting rapid business growth.

Key responsibilities

• Provide leadership on learning design standards, ensuring alignment between performance outcomes, content, practice and assessment.
• Lead all phases of design for complex, high‑priority learning projects, from discovery to delivery.
• Partner with business partners and SMEs to identify performance gaps and define appropriate learning solutions.
• Select and apply effective learning strategies, including instructor‑led, eLearning, blended and job‑aid formats.
• Design and develop high‑quality learning materials such as lesson plans, facilitator guides, eLearning courses, participant guides, job aids and assessments.
• Measure impact against predefined success metrics and analyse learning data to improve engagement and effectiveness.
• Collaborate with Global Learning Design and Program Management to ensure alignment with global priorities and standards.

Required profile

• Fluent in written and spoken English; additional languages (Cantonese, Mandarin, Korean, Japanese, Thai) are a plus.
• 6‑8 years of full‑time learning design experience, preferably within retail.
• Proven ability to conduct performance analysis, set learning outcomes and evaluate learning solutions.

Required skills

• Expertise with rapid authoring tools, especially Articulate 360.
• Strong eLearning development and multimedia production skills (audio, video, illustration).
• Solid grounding in instructional design principles.
