Senior Manager (Social & Elderly Wellness)

About the role

The Senior Manager (Social & Elderly Wellness) will support senior leadership in shaping and delivering the Caring, Engaging and Smart (CES) and Senior Citizen Residences Scheme (SCRS) services. The role focuses on strategic planning, service development and ensuring alignment with HKHS corporate goals and financial targets.

Key responsibilities

• Formulate strategies, plans and policies for CES and SCRS services.
• Develop and coordinate service delivery within available resources and corporate strategies.
• Monitor administration of CES and SCRS teams, conduct service evaluations and uphold corporate governance.
• Build collaborative relationships with local and international elderly and community service providers, government bodies and private agencies.
• Promote HKHS social and elderly services to stakeholders.
• Represent the Social and Elderly Wellness Section in meetings, working groups and conferences.
• Undertake additional duties as assigned by the supervisor.

Required profile

• Degree in social work, healthcare or a related discipline (preferred).
• Minimum 12 years of experience serving the elderly, families or communities, including at least 8 years in a management position.
• Gerontology or management qualification is an advantage.
• Strong business acumen, interpersonal and communication skills.
• Familiarity with social service delivery processes, cost control and budgeting.
• Fluent in spoken English and Cantonese; good written English and Chinese.
