Senior Officer – Documentation & Loan Services

About the role

The Senior Officer, Documentation & Loan Services supports the Institutional Bank’s middle‑office by ensuring documentation compliance and smooth hand‑over between front‑ and back‑office teams. You will manage the full lifecycle of loan documentation, from drafting to activation, while coordinating with internal and external stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and draft client facility documents, including Letters of Offer, conditions precedent, and standard security documents using approved templates.
• Coordinate the execution of non‑standard or externally drafted documents with customers, Relationship Managers, Credit Risk, and Legal.
• Support facility activation by issuing limit approval advice, maintaining limits in OCP, and monitoring covenants and annual reviews.
• Obtain updated valuation reports and insurance policies from stakeholders.
• Deliver loan fulfillment and lifecycle management services, working with facility agents and regional teams.
• Gather information for audits, reporting, and process‑improvement projects.
• Assist the Head of Documentation & Loan Services and regional managers with ad‑hoc tasks.

Required profile

• Experience in banking or financial services documentation and loan operations.
• Strong understanding of credit facilities, legal documentation, and compliance processes.
• Excellent communication skills to interact with internal teams and external counsel.
• Detail‑oriented with the ability to manage multiple documents and deadlines.
