Senior Procurement & Logistics Officer

About the role

The Senior Procurement & Logistics Officer will support daily logistics and procurement operations, coordinating shipments, maintaining accurate documentation, and ensuring compliance with company procedures. This role acts as a key liaison between business units, suppliers, freight forwarders, and warehouses to guarantee timely and efficient delivery of goods and services.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate daily logistics activities for projects and operational needs, planning local and overseas deliveries with freight forwarders, transport companies, couriers, and warehouse operators.
• Prepare, verify, and file complete shipping documents; resolve delivery issues, shipment delays, damaged goods, and other logistics exceptions.
• Liaise with business units, suppliers, warehouses, and logistics partners to ensure smooth execution and support partner selection based on cost, service level, and lead time.
• Assist in cost‑optimization initiatives for transportation and logistics services.
• Support vendor registration and onboarding, assist Procurement Managers with sourcing and RFQ processes, and handle procurement administration in eProcurement and ERP systems.
• Maintain accurate procurement records in line with company procedures.
• Participate in continuous‑improvement projects, maintain system data, and contribute to process‑enhancement initiatives for both procurement and logistics.

Required profile

• Recognised university degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration or a related discipline.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in logistics and shipping operations.
• Good knowledge of inventory management systems and familiarity with ERP (Microsoft Dynamics 365) and Tradelink declaration.
• Fast learner with a proactive attitude, patience when dealing with internal stakeholders, and openness to change.
