Senior Site Reliability Engineer (APAC)

About the role

Reap is building a Site Reliability Engineering practice to support its fast‑growing payments platform that runs card issuing, payouts, FX and stablecoin settlement across multiple AWS regions. As a Senior Site Reliability Engineer you will define reliability standards, own the platform’s availability and guide engineering teams in a highly regulated environment.

Key responsibilities

• Define and measure SLIs/SLOs, manage error budgets and drive reliability decisions.
• Design, build and maintain infrastructure on AWS using Terraform and CloudFormation.
• Implement CI/CD pipelines with GitHub Actions and Argo CD for services running on ECS/Fargate, Lambda and EKS.
• Automate operational tasks, eliminate manual toil and improve observability with New Relic and CloudWatch.
• Collaborate with product and engineering teams to ensure compliance with PCI DSS and financial regulations.

Required profile

• Several years of experience in site reliability, DevOps or cloud engineering.
• Strong understanding of reliability engineering concepts such as SLIs, SLOs and error budgets.
• Experience working in regulated financial or payments environments is a plus.
