Senior Staff Platform Engineer – DevOps

About the role

MoneyHero is seeking a Senior Staff Platform Engineer to lead the design, implementation, and operation of its cloud platform. You will own the architecture roadmap, mentor engineers, and ensure the platform supports AI‑powered financial products at scale.

Key responsibilities

• Define and drive cloud architecture strategy across AWS, with exposure to GCP and Azure.
• Design, build, and manage scalable, secure, and cost‑efficient AWS infrastructure (EC2, S3, Lambda, RDS, VPC) with high availability and disaster recovery.
• Develop and maintain Terraform IaC configurations for consistent provisioning.
• Operate Kubernetes (EKS) clusters, manage container deployments, and implement GitOps workflows using ArgoCD.
• Create and optimize CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, GitLab CI) for automated testing and delivery.
• Implement monitoring, logging, and alerting with Prometheus, Grafana, CloudWatch.
• Ensure cloud security best practices, IAM governance, and compliance with industry standards.
• Provision and manage AI infrastructure, including services like AWS Bedrock, with proper secret management and cost monitoring.

Required profile

• 12‑15 years of DevOps/Platform engineering experience, including 5+ years with Kubernetes.
• Deep hands‑on experience with core AWS services and cloud infrastructure management.
• Proven ability to lead incident response and provide expert‑level support for platform issues.
• Strong problem‑solving skills and high degree of autonomy.
