Senior Vice President – Director of Finance

About the role

This senior leadership position oversees all finance functions, ensuring accurate reporting, effective cash management, and compliance with regulatory standards. Reporting to senior management, the role serves as the primary liaison with the headquarters for financial reporting requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare financial statements, consolidate results and deliver regulatory reports to the SFC.
• Lead financial planning, annual budgeting and cash‑flow management.
• Produce financial analysis reports for senior management.
• Monitor treasury activities, banking relationships and fundraising initiatives.
• Coordinate external audits, tax matters and liaise with professional advisors.
• Act as the main contact point for headquarters on all reporting obligations.

Required profile

• Degree in accountancy, finance or a related discipline with HKICPA, ACCA or equivalent qualification.
• Minimum 12 years of experience in the securities industry or a listed financial institution.
• Proven track record in diverse financial functions and stakeholder management.
• Deep knowledge of FRR and SFC regulatory requirements.
• Strong understanding of financial products such as equities, futures, bonds, funds and ETFs.
• Fluent in spoken and written English and Chinese, with Mandarin proficiency.

Required skills

• Proficiency in MS Office applications.
• Ability to use Chinese word‑processing software.
