Service Manager, Data Centre

About the role

We are a leading engineering and technology solutions provider delivering mission‑critical building services, facilities management, and infrastructure support across commercial, industrial and data centre environments. As the Service Manager you will oversee the delivery of engineering services for key data centre clients, ensuring operational reliability, compliance and customer satisfaction.

Key responsibilities

• Lead day‑to‑day service and operations management for data centre clients and mission‑critical facilities.
• Manage maintenance, service delivery and performance of mechanical and electrical systems.
• Drive service quality, uptime, safety and regulatory compliance across client sites.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships as the primary point of contact for operational matters.
• Lead engineering teams, contractors and service partners to ensure efficient service execution.
• Identify opportunities for operational improvement, energy efficiency and life‑cycle asset management.

Required profile

• Degree or Higher Diploma in Mechanical, Building Services, Electrical Engineering or a related discipline.
• Proven experience managing engineering services, facilities operations or maintenance within data centres or critical environments.
• Strong knowledge of HVAC, MVAC, chilled water systems and mission‑critical building services infrastructure.
• Demonstrated experience leading engineering teams and coordinating service contractors.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills with a customer‑centric mindset.
• Familiarity with statutory requirements, health and safety standards and best practices in facility operations.
