Site Reliability Engineer – High‑Pay Trading Firm

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Site Reliability Engineer to join a leading global trading firm in Hong Kong. The successful candidate will work on ultra‑low‑latency infrastructure, ensuring that high‑throughput systems remain stable and performant.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain uptime and availability of high‑performance trading platforms.
• Automate repetitive operational tasks through scripting and tooling.
• Diagnose and resolve complex technical incidents with innovative solutions.
• Develop and roll out new reliability solutions based on recurring issues.
• Promote SRE best practices and a reliability‑first culture across the organisation.

Required profile

• Proven SRE experience, preferably within a trading or financial services environment.
• Strong background in Linux system administration and performance tuning.
• Solid programming skills in Python.
• Familiarity with modern software development lifecycles (testing, source control, build, CI/CD).
• Experience with SQL databases; JavaScript knowledge is a plus.
• Degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related STEM field.
