Solution Architect – Architecture & Technology

About the role

The Airport Authority Hong Kong is seeking a Solution Architect to translate business, functional, and cybersecurity requirements into optimal technical designs that align with the enterprise IT landscape. You will act as a bridge between IT and business teams, ensuring solutions meet both strategic and tactical needs while supporting the airport’s sustainability and growth objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Convert business and integration requirements into cohesive technical design deliverables.
• Facilitate communication between IT and business stakeholders to align solutions with business goals.
• Balance company‑wide strategic needs with short‑term tactical demands.
• Ensure holistic integration of solutions and compliance with governance processes.
• Drive enterprise architecture standards, policies, reference architectures, and roadmap definition for the relevant domain.
• Collaborate with other architects to co‑own the enterprise architecture strategy across all business and technology domains.
• Analyze the current IT environment, identify deficiencies, and recommend improvement solutions.
• Stay updated on technology trends and assess their impact on the company’s architecture landscape.

Required profile

• Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering or related field.
• At least 6 years of relevant experience, including a minimum of 2 years in solution architecture.
• Professional qualification such as TOGAF certification (preferred).
• Proven ability to drive technical alignment across diverse stakeholder groups.
• Experience with large‑scale back‑office services and enterprise‑grade infrastructure components.
