Sr. Technical IT Operations Executive

About the role

Infosys is seeking a Senior Technical IT Operations Executive to oversee hardware inventory, manage service requests, and support large‑scale events across its facilities. The role combines hands‑on technical work with coordination of business moves, escalations, and client expectations.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor and maintain hardware inventory levels, process requests through internal ordering systems.
• Manage ticket queues, resolve incidents, and ensure completion within SLA/OLA targets.
• Perform housekeeping of IT rooms and support event‑related hardware setups (e.g., annual power‑down, training rooms, expos).
• Install, configure, troubleshoot, and image desktops, laptops, peripherals, IP phones and mobile devices.
• Support hardware decommissioning, business relocations, and work‑from‑home equipment requests.
• Handle escalations, manage client expectations, and ensure compliance with overtime, expense, and cost‑control policies.

Required profile

• Excellent communication, interpersonal and customer‑care skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
• Strong organizational and problem‑solving abilities.
• ITIL foundation understanding.
• Knowledge of Windows operating systems, applications and computer hardware.
• Experience interacting with multiple support groups and using a help‑desk call management system.
