Station Production Controller

About the role

The Station Production Controller ensures that aircraft maintenance at the station is planned, coordinated and executed efficiently. Working closely with operations, Maintenance Control, Planning, Supply Chain, Engineering and ground services, the role safeguards aircraft availability while meeting safety and regulatory standards.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and control station production schedules and allocate resources to meet operational and safety goals.
• Maintain and update the Line Status Sheet Report and communicate priorities to operational staff.
• Develop daily and overnight maintenance schedules aligned with fleet routing and commercial requirements.
• Coordinate maintenance packages, task cards and work scopes, ensuring parts, tooling, manpower and consumables are ready before aircraft arrival.
• Monitor aircraft arrival/departure times, gate constraints and ground handling availability to sequence maintenance tasks appropriately.
• Track station capability data (skills, tooling, manpower hours) and work with MCC, Planning, Engineering and Supply Chain to resolve constraints.
• Analyze capacity and demand forecasts, adjust staffing needs and prioritize work to maximize downtime utilization.
• Implement procedures that improve efficiency, quality and on‑time performance while ensuring compliance with airworthiness directives and service bulletins.

Required profile

• Strong understanding of aviation maintenance processes and regulatory requirements.
• Excellent analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
• Effective communication skills for interfacing with multiple internal teams.
• Ability to work under pressure and manage competing priorities.

Required skills

• Experience with maintenance scheduling and production control in an airline or aviation environment.
• Familiarity with line status reporting and resource allocation tools.
• Knowledge of airworthiness directives, service bulletins and maintenance program tasks.
