System Architect / Analyst – FinTech (AI & Blockchain)

About the role

ICBC (Asia) is seeking a System Architect / System Analyst to drive innovation in financial technology. You will work on cutting‑edge AI and blockchain solutions that enhance the bank’s digital services and operational efficiency.

Key responsibilities

• Provide insights on emerging technology trends in the financial and internet sectors and lead their implementation within the bank.
• Implement new technologies and develop technical products for major projects.
• Perform software development, testing, system design, analysis and problem‑solving.
• Define and enforce best practices, and maintain frameworks/standards to improve deliverable quality.
• Train and mentor junior staff.

Required profile

• University degree in Computer Science or a related discipline.
• Strong command of spoken and written English and Chinese (including Putonghua).
• Senior‑level experience; candidates with less experience may be considered for a Senior Analyst Programmer role.

Required skills

• Experience with AI technologies, deep‑learning models and large language models (LLMs) applied to financial systems.
• Practical knowledge of blockchain platforms such as Hyperledger Fabric, Ethereum and Corda.
• Smart‑contract development using Solidity or Chaincode.
• Understanding of blockchain applications in banking (cross‑border payments, digital assets, KYC/AML) and related security mechanisms (cryptography, key management, privacy protection).
