Tech Quality Assurance & Testing Lead

About the role

The Quality Assurance Lead will define and drive the QA strategy for insurance technology applications, overseeing test planning, execution, automation, and governance. The role focuses on AI‑led automation to boost test efficiency, reduce manual effort, and increase release confidence.

Key responsibilities

• Lead end‑to‑end quality strategy across projects, releases and production fixes, establishing quality gates and test plans.
• Champion AI‑enabled automation testing, evaluating and implementing ML‑based tools for functional, regression and API testing.
• Define automation standards, reusable test assets and continuous testing practices.
• Collaborate with product owners, business SMEs, engineering and vendors to ensure testable requirements and clear quality expectations.
• Embed testing into CI/CD pipelines and monitor metrics such as defect leakage, test coverage and release readiness.
• Coach and guide internal testers, automation engineers and vendor teams.

Required profile

• 7‑10+ years of QA/testing experience, including at least 3 years in a leadership role.
• Strong background in insurance domain testing (policy, claims, underwriting, billing, etc.).
• Hands‑on experience designing test automation strategies and leading multi‑team quality initiatives.
• Proven stakeholder management and communication skills.
