Technical Talent Sourcer – Engineering

About the role

Susquehanna’s in‑house recruiting team is expanding and seeks a Technical Talent Sourcer to help shape the growth of its engineering organization. You will partner closely with hiring managers and recruiters to identify, engage, and attract top‑tier software engineers, infrastructure engineers, and quantitative developers across the APAC region.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute sourcing strategies for a variety of technical roles, including software, infrastructure, and quantitative development.
• Build and maintain proactive pipelines of high‑quality candidates through research, networking, and direct outreach.
• Collaborate with hiring managers and recruiters to understand hiring needs and advise on sourcing approaches for hard‑to‑fill positions.
• Conduct market research and talent mapping to identify target companies, emerging talent pools, and industry trends.
• Track sourcing performance, analyze recruiting metrics, and recommend process improvements to increase hiring effectiveness.
• Provide an exceptional candidate experience and nurture strong relationships throughout the recruiting process.

Required profile

• 2–4 years of experience in technical sourcing or recruiting for software engineering or related technical roles.
• Experience in a highly selective or competitive hiring environment is preferred.
• Strong research and sourcing abilities, especially in identifying passive technical talent.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to build relationships at all levels.
• Analytical mindset with a data‑driven approach to sourcing strategy.
• Curiosity and a genuine desire to understand the technology teams you support.
