Temporary Mathematics Teacher (Nov 2026 – Oct 2027)

About the role

King George V School is seeking a temporary full‑time Mathematics Teacher for the period November 2026 to October 2027, with the possibility of renewal. The successful candidate will teach across the Middle Years Programme (MYP), IGCSE and IB Diploma (IBDP) levels, delivering a high‑quality curriculum to a diverse international student body.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, deliver and assess Mathematics lessons for MYP, IGCSE and IBDP cohorts, adapting instruction to meet varied learning needs.
• Use student data to inform curriculum adjustments, teaching strategies and assessment practices.
• Collaborate with the Mathematics Department’s Professional Learning Teams to improve student outcomes.
• Lead or support extra‑curricular activities within the school’s CAS programme and represent the school at functions.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics or a related field, plus a recognised postgraduate teaching qualification or equivalent.
• Demonstrated ability to teach MYP, IGCSE and IBDP Mathematics.
• Strong interpersonal skills with the capacity to build positive relationships with students, staff and parents.
• Experience using data‑driven approaches to modify curriculum and assessment.
