Tenure-Track Clinical Associate/Assistant Professor in Obstetrics & Gynaecology

About the role

The Department of Obstetrics and Gynaecology at the University of Hong Kong invites applications for several tenure‑track positions at the Clinical Associate Professor and Clinical Assistant Professor levels. Appointments are on a four‑year fixed‑term basis with the possibility of renewal and eventual tenure, subject to performance.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver high‑quality teaching and supervision for undergraduate and postgraduate medical students.
• Develop, organise, and enhance both undergraduate and postgraduate curricula.
• Conduct scholarly research of international standard and secure external research funding.
• Provide clinical services and patient care at the university’s teaching hospitals.
• Participate in departmental, faculty, and university administration and service activities.

Required profile

• Medical qualification registrable with the Medical Council of Hong Kong.
• Specialist qualification in Obstetrics and Gynaecology (Fellowship of the Hong Kong Academy of Medicine).
• Demonstrated capacity for high‑quality research, teaching excellence, and student supervision.
• Commitment to academic scholarship and development of medical education programmes.
