Tenure-Track Clinical Professor – Obstetrics & Gynaecology

About the role

The Department of Obstetrics and Gynaecology seeks several Tenure‑Track Clinical Professors to join its academic and clinical team. Appointees will lead teaching, research and clinical activities, fostering excellence and strategic growth.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain and enhance the quality of teaching, research, and clinical services within the department.
• Promote interdisciplinary and external academic collaborations.
• Develop and implement strategic initiatives for departmental development.
• Provide administrative leadership and contribute to university governance.

Required profile

• Specialist registration with the Medical Council of Hong Kong or eligibility for Hong Kong Academy of Medicine certification.
• Higher academic qualifications such as MD, MS or PhD.
• Distinguished, sustained record of high‑impact basic, translational or clinical research.
• International recognition for scholarship and professional expertise.
• Consistent excellence in teaching, learning and knowledge exchange.
• Preferably demonstrated administrative leadership in university or healthcare settings.

Required skills

• Clinical expertise in obstetrics and gynaecology (e.g., general, high‑risk, fetal medicine, oncology, IVF).
• Research design, methodology and grant acquisition.
• Academic leadership and curriculum development.
• Mentoring of junior faculty and students.
