Tenure‑Track Professor in Pharmacology & Pharmacy

About the role

The Department of Pharmacology and Pharmacy at the University of Hong Kong seeks a motivated tenure‑track professor (assistant, associate, or full) to join its faculty on a three‑year fixed‑term contract, with renewal and potential tenure consideration.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct independent and collaborative research in drug discovery, pharmaceutical technology, drug delivery, and translational science.
• Undertake administrative duties at departmental and faculty levels.
• Develop and deliver curriculum for undergraduate and postgraduate programmes in pharmaceutical science.
• Teach and supervise students in medicine, biomedical sciences, nursing, and Chinese medicine as needed.

Required profile

• Ph.D. in pharmacology or a related discipline.
• Strong, fundable research programme with clear potential for local and global collaborations.
