Truck Driver

About the role

The position involves operating large tandem‑axle trucks to transport construction materials such as gravel, dirt, and asphalt. The driver must ensure safe vehicle operation in compliance with state traffic laws and report any maintenance needs.

Key responsibilities

• Haul gravel from pits to work sites.
• Pick up asphalt at plants and deliver to job locations.
• Transport dirt from sites to designated dumping areas.
• Inspect equipment daily for proper operating conditions.
• Notify the supervisor when routine maintenance or repairs are required.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Required profile

• High school diploma or GED.
• Valid Class A commercial driver’s license in good standing.
• No serious traffic violations or accidents in the past five years.
• No DWI/DUI convictions in the past ten years.
• At least two years of commercial driving experience with tandem‑axle trucks.
• Pass pre‑employment drug and alcohol testing.

Required skills
