Ultrasound Clinical Application Specialist

About the role

The Ultrasound Clinical Application Specialist provides expert clinical and technical support for GE Healthcare ultrasound products in Hong Kong. The role focuses on product demonstrations, customer training, application development, and sales support to ensure optimal utilization of ultrasound technology.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver clinical and technical support during product demonstrations, evaluations, and sales presentations.
• Conduct comprehensive training on safe and effective use of GE ultrasound systems and advanced applications.
• Collaborate with customers to optimise imaging protocols and workflows.
• Work closely with commercial, product, and service teams to integrate clinical insights into sales and marketing strategies.
• Troubleshoot clinical application issues and provide solutions in partnership with service and sales teams.
• Develop and maintain relationships with key opinion leaders and clinical partners to gather market insights.
• Participate in product launches, workshops, and trade shows to showcase new ultrasound innovations.
• Contribute to training materials, clinical case studies, and application notes.

Required profile

• Minimum 3‑5 years of clinical experience as an ultrasound technologist or sonographer.
• Strong expertise across multiple ultrasound modalities, especially cardiac imaging, with experience in general and OB/GYN applications.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to train individuals and groups effectively.
• Strong problem‑solving and analytical abilities.
• Fluency in English and Cantonese; Mandarin is a plus.
• Willingness to travel frequently within Hong Kong and occasionally internationally.
