Universe Manager – Luxury Retail

About the role

The Universe Manager supports the Boutique Manager in delivering exceptional sales performance and service standards at a Hermès boutique. Working closely with the manager, this role ensures smooth store operations, budget compliance, and a high‑quality customer experience.

Key responsibilities

• Assist the Boutique Manager in achieving sales targets and profitability goals.
• Manage daily store operations, including till handling, expense tracking, and inventory control.
• Lead and motivate the team, monitor staff morale, and address development needs.
• Maintain consistent high standards of customer service and promptly resolve client inquiries.
• Take ownership of the boutique’s budget, sales mix strategy, and stock availability.
• Collaborate with the Business Manager on buying plans, sell‑through analysis, and reporting.
• Oversee stock‑taking processes, prevent discrepancies, and ensure compliance with Hermès procedures.
• Ensure visual merchandising aligns with brand guidelines and creates an immersive store environment.

Required profile

• Proven experience in luxury retail or boutique management.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Ability to work autonomously and step in for the Boutique Manager when needed.
• Customer‑focused mindset with a commitment to service excellence.
• Analytical mindset for budget and sales performance monitoring.
