Vice President, Fixed Income Investment Specialist

About the role

We are looking for a Vice President to join our Fixed Income Investment Specialist team. The role supports global and Asia‑focused strategies, working closely with investment desks in London and New York to serve our Asian client base.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain deep knowledge of the Fixed Income portfolios you represent and provide market insights to existing and prospective clients.
• Partner with Client Advisors to present investment processes, portfolio positioning, market outlooks, and performance data.
• Collaborate with Portfolio Managers on business, product, and distribution strategies for the Asia ex‑Japan region.
• Review RFP materials and internal marketing tools, promoting strategies both internally and externally.
• Engage sales teams across distribution channels to develop distribution targets and tactical plans.
• Ensure smooth onboarding, implementation of investment guidelines, and proper setup of instruments.
• Work with product development teams to launch new products or enhance existing ones.
• Oversee monthly portfolio and mutual‑fund reporting, including commentaries and performance data.

Required profile

• Undergraduate degree with a strong financial background.
• Minimum 10 years of experience in asset management or a related field.
• Strong technical knowledge of Fixed Income markets and macro‑economic trends.
• Solution‑oriented, consultative approach with sophisticated clients.
• Ability to act as a fiduciary with a strong work ethic and positive attitude.
• Excellent communication skills in English and Mandarin, both written and oral.
• Proven interpersonal and presentation abilities to engage clients and colleagues at all levels.
