VP / Director Custody & WaaS Institutional Sales

About the role

Hex Trust is a fully‑licensed digital‑asset financial institution seeking a senior sales leader to drive institutional custody and Wallet‑as‑a‑Service (WaaS) revenue. You will own the full commercial cycle, build relationships with funds, banks and other institutional clients, and work closely with product, compliance and operations teams.

Key responsibilities

• Prospect, qualify, structure and close new institutional custody and WaaS deals.
• Manage end‑to‑end client onboarding and ongoing coverage to grow assets under custody.
• Translate Hex Trust’s technical advantages (sub‑1s cold signing, API‑first, DeFi connectivity, native staking, multi‑account approvals) into commercial wins.
• Collaborate with product, client operations, compliance and legal to ensure smooth onboarding.
• Provide market intelligence to product, marketing and leadership to shape the roadmap.

Required profile

• 7‑10 years of institutional sales or business development experience.
• 2‑3 years in crypto, preferably selling custody, Wallet‑as‑a‑Service, prime brokerage or related infrastructure.
• Proven track record of acquiring and growing institutional client accounts and exceeding revenue targets.
• Fluent English; Mandarin is a strong plus for Hong Kong or Singapore candidates.
• Highly organized, self‑driven and comfortable in fast‑paced, high‑stakes environments.

Required skills

• Deep understanding of the crypto custody landscape and infrastructure.
• Experience selling institutional crypto products such as custody, WaaS or prime brokerage.
