Waiter/Waitress – Hotel Restaurant Service

About the role

We are looking for enthusiastic waitstaff to join the restaurant team at Dorsett Kai Tak, a new 373‑room flagship hotel in Hong Kong. The role involves greeting guests, taking orders, and delivering a high‑standard dining experience in a vibrant, maritime‑inspired setting.

Key responsibilities

• Welcome guests, escort them to tables and present menus.
• Take accurate food and beverage orders, noting special requests and dietary requirements.
• Serve meals and drinks promptly, adhering to service standards.
• Maintain thorough knowledge of menu items, daily specials and preparation methods.
• Provide recommendations and upsell appetizers, desserts and premium beverages.
• Set up and clear tables efficiently to keep the dining area tidy.
• Coordinate with kitchen and bar staff to ensure smooth order delivery.
• Follow food safety, hygiene, dress code and grooming policies.

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends and holidays.
• Proficiency in written and spoken English and Chinese.

Required skills

• Familiarity with POS (Point of Sale) systems (a plus).
