Accountant – Hong Kong

About the role

Sunny Group is looking for a motivated and detail‑oriented Accountant to join its Hong Kong office. The role supports the accounting and financial operations of several Hong Kong entities, including holding and trading companies, and provides exposure to cross‑border finance within a listed multinational manufacturing group.

Key responsibilities

• Handle daily accounting operations for multiple Hong Kong entities.
• Perform bookkeeping, journal entries, account reconciliations, and month‑end closing.
• Prepare financial reports and maintain accurate accounting records.
• Assist with Hong Kong tax filings and statutory compliance.
• Coordinate with external auditors, tax advisors, banks, and internal stakeholders as needed.
• Support ad‑hoc finance projects and other accounting‑related assignments.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
• 2–3 years of overall accounting experience, including at least 1 year in Hong Kong.
• Familiarity with Hong Kong accounting practices and tax filing requirements.
• Holder of a recognized Hong Kong accounting qualification (e.g., HKICPA) is preferred.
• Strong attention to detail, analytical skills, and proactive attitude.
• Good communication skills in English and Chinese; Mandarin preferred.
