About the role
AIA Hong Kong offers a 6‑month actuarial internship where you will rotate through product development, reporting, and capital management functions, gaining hands‑on experience in actuarial analysis and financial modelling.
Key responsibilities
- Perform data analysis and generate product financials using spreadsheets and Prophet models.
- Prepare calculations and data for experience/claim monitoring and financial reporting.
- Support coding of new products and enhancements of models, and verify valuation bases.
- Assist with stress‑testing, economic capital reporting and analysis of financial strategies.
Required profile
- University student majoring in Actuarial Science, Risk Management, Mathematics, Statistics, Insurance or Finance.
- Strong mathematical background with good analytical and communication skills.
- Proficient in written and spoken English.
Required skills
- Microsoft Office (Excel)
- Prophet modelling software
- Visual Basic for Applications (VBA) or other programming language (advantageous)
