Advanced Systems Engineer – ICT & Cybersecurity

About the role

Honeywell Technologies is seeking an Advanced Systems Engineer to design, implement and support complex ICT infrastructure across client sites. The role blends hardware, software and cybersecurity expertise to deliver reliable, secure solutions for building, industrial and process environments.

Key responsibilities

• Design, configure, commission and support servers, storage, networks, virtual platforms, IoT and cloud services.
• Develop and maintain application scripts (e.g., Visual Basic, System Script) and support Honeywell enterprise applications such as EBI, DVM and BPS.
• Lead ICT project planning and execution, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives and customer requirements.
• Engage directly with customers and business users to analyse requirements for ICT and cyber‑security solutions.
• Review and validate server, storage and network designs, including vendor quotes.
• Participate in Technical Risk Reviews focusing on ICT, networking and cyber‑security.
• Collaborate with global ICT and cyber‑security teams to promote standardisation.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in IT, Computer Science, Computer Engineering or related field.
• Fluent in English, Mandarin and Cantonese.
• Willingness to travel to locations such as Macau and Taiwan.
• Professional certifications preferred (e.g., CCNA/CCNP, Windows Server Hybrid Administrator, VCP, PMP, ITIL).

• Microsoft server environment – Active Directory, Group Policy.
• Linux/Unix operating systems.
• Virtualisation – VMware ESXi, vCenter, Hyper‑V, Fault Tolerance.
• Networking protocols and services – TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, NTP, firewalls, switches, VPN tunnels.
• Backup solutions – Veeam, Acronis.
• IoT technologies and cloud platform management.
• Application programming – Visual Basic, System Script.
• Honeywell software – EBI, DVM, BPS.
• System and solution design, capacity planning.
• Cyber‑security risk management, vulnerability assessment, system hardening, patch management.
• ITIL service‑management processes.
