APAC Manager, Financial Crime Compliance

About the role

Invesco is seeking an experienced professional to lead its Financial Crime Compliance function across the APAC region. Reporting to the Global Head of Financial Crime Compliance, you will ensure the firm meets all AML, anti‑bribery, corruption and sanctions obligations in multiple jurisdictions.

Key responsibilities

• Provide strategic direction and oversight for AML, sanctions and financial‑crime prevention programs in Australia, Mainland China, Hong Kong, India, Japan, South Korea, Singapore and Taiwan.
• Serve as Manager in Charge (MIC) for Invesco Hong Kong Limited and Senior Manager for Invesco Asset Management Singapore Limited, as well as MLRO/AMLCO for Cayman‑registered funds.
• Oversee regional first‑line AML operations, act as escalation point for AML and financial‑crime issues, and ensure consistent guidance to regional MLROs and AML Compliance Officers.
• Design, implement and maintain compliance programs, monitor adherence to local and regional regulations, and collaborate with business partners to remediate identified gaps.
• Report functionally to the Global Head of Financial Crime and maintain a dotted‑line relationship with the Regional Head of Compliance, APAC.

Required profile

• Proven experience in AML, sanctions and financial‑crime compliance within the APAC region.
• Demonstrated ability to lead multi‑jurisdictional compliance programs and manage senior stakeholder relationships.
• Strong knowledge of local and global financial‑crime regulatory frameworks.
• Experience acting as MLRO or equivalent compliance officer for investment entities.
