Assistant Engineer

About the role

The Assistant Engineer will support the engineering team of Nina Hotel Kowloon East, ensuring smooth operation of building services and timely resolution of technical issues. This role combines on‑site monitoring, project support, and collaboration with hotel operations to maintain high standards of service.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor hotel engineering works and address ad‑hoc technical problems on projects.
• Conduct tender analysis and perform monthly on‑site inspections and audits.
• Assist in overseeing the Preventive Maintenance Programme (PMP) and Standard Operating Procedures (SOP).
• Identify, evaluate, and implement new Builder’s Work, E&M and ESG technologies.
• Execute corrective and planned maintenance of building services equipment and systems.
• Handle enquiries, prepare investigation reports for technical issues, and support related documentation.
• Undertake any additional tasks or ad‑hoc projects assigned by superiors.

Required profile

• Degree in Mechanical, Electrical or Building Services Engineering.
• 2–3 years of relevant engineering experience in hotels or real‑estate at a corporate level.
• Registered Electrical Worker (Grade B or above) is an advantage.
• Hands‑on experience in E&M consulting.
• Effective communicator with strong collaboration skills across hotel operations and project teams.
• Fluent in written and spoken English and Chinese.
• Proficient in MS Office and AutoCAD applications.
