Assistant Engineer – Water Engineering

About the role

We are looking for a highly skilled Assistant Engineer to support the delivery of water‑related engineering designs. You will work on calculations, drawings and specifications while collaborating with multidisciplinary teams and building strong client relationships.

Key responsibilities

• Take technical responsibility for engineering design delivery on water, sewage, drainage or wastewater projects.
• Produce and review calculations, drawings, reports and specifications.
• Participate in peer design reviews and ensure design quality.
• Support project and design management to deliver projects on time and within budget.
• Coordinate inputs from other disciplines and manage technical development of the team.
• Identify business development opportunities and contribute to bidding activities.
• Maintain and develop relationships with existing and prospective clients.

Required profile

• Engineering degree in Mechanical, Chemical, Environmental or a related discipline.
• Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in water, sewage, drainage, wastewater or utilities engineering.
• Strong command of spoken and written English.
• Excellent project management capabilities.
