Assistant Housekeeper – Supervisory Role

About the role

The Langham, Hong Kong is seeking an Assistant Housekeeper to support the Housekeeping Manager in overseeing guest floor, public area, and laundry operations. This onsite role ensures high standards of cleanliness and guest satisfaction across the property.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise daily work of all housekeeping staff, ensuring efficiency and quality.
• Oversee all housekeeping areas, including guest rooms, public spaces, and laundry, to maintain excellent service standards.
• Schedule and conduct routine inspections of housekeeping zones.
• Deliver personalized service to maximise guest satisfaction.
• Assist with stock control and inventory management for smooth department operations.
• Perform housekeeping administration duties using computer systems.
• Ensure compliance with brand standards for cleanliness and guest service.

Required profile

• Minimum 6 years of relevant experience, with at least 3 years in a supervisory capacity, preferably within the hotel industry.
• Strong knowledge of housekeeping operations, cleaning procedures, and chemical handling.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, supervisory, and problem‑solving abilities.
• Proficient written and spoken English and Chinese.
• Good PC literacy.
