Assistant Manager (Clinical Operations)

About the role

The Assistant Manager (Clinical Operations) will support the Manager of Clinical and Research Operations by acting as the main liaison for the Operations and Engagement Division and by ensuring research projects progress smoothly through effective coordination and communication.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as the primary point of contact for internal and external stakeholders, including the public and industry partners, handling inquiries and communications.
• Assist in planning, tracking, and executing research project timelines, ensuring milestones are met through cross‑team coordination.
• Collect, analyse, and synthesise project data to produce progress reports for senior management review.
• Design and develop high‑impact, visually compelling presentations that communicate project status and proposals to management and stakeholders.
• Perform any additional duties assigned by senior officers to support clinical and research operations.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Life Sciences, or a related discipline.
• Minimum of 5 years of project coordination experience, preferably in clinical research, life sciences, healthcare, or the non‑profit sector.
• Collaborative mindset with the ability to manage multiple concurrent projects effectively.
• Strong bilingual communication skills in spoken Cantonese and English, capable of tailoring messages for diverse audiences.

Required skills

• Advanced proficiency with project management tools.
• Advanced proficiency with data analysis software.
• Advanced proficiency with presentation and graphic design tools such as PowerPoint, Canva, and Adobe Suite.
