Assistant Manager / Manager - Corporate Risks

About the role

Howden, a leading global independent insurance intermediary group founded in 1994 and operating in 57 countries, is looking for an Assistant Manager / Manager to join its team. The role supports Property and Casualty (P&C) broking, including corporate risk and personal lines.

Key responsibilities

• Support account servicing, underwriting processes and claims assistance to build and maintain positive client relationships.
• Manage and prepare insurance quotations accurately and completely.
• Oversee the review and verification of policy documents for new cases and renewals, ensuring compliance with internal guidelines and regulatory requirements.
• Provide insurance advice, answer client inquiries and resolve issues efficiently.
• Assist in P&C broking, including corporate risk and personal lines.

Required profile

• Degree or diploma holder with insurance qualifications to practice as an insurance broker in Hong Kong (IIQE Paper 1 and 2) is a must.
• 3 to 5 years of experience in insurance broking, including corporate and commercial sectors.
• Good understanding of insurance products, claims processes and regulatory compliance.
• Highly driven, energetic, with strong interpersonal and communication skills, a good team player and a proactive, self-motivated attitude.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
