Assistant Manager, Medical Network Management

About the role

Prudential is looking for an Assistant Manager to develop and manage its medical provider network and direct billing service. The role covers contract negotiation, fee arrangements, provider training, settlement processes and third-party agreements, while ensuring good customer experience and value from network providers.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the medical provider network and direct billing service through business contract negotiation, agreed fees, provider training, settlement process and third-party agreements.
• Ensure excellent customer experience and value from providers through performance monitoring, quality assurance, feedback management, daily servicing issues and process improvement initiatives.
• Engage agencies and distributors through education, communication and engagement activities to increase use of the direct billing service.
• Research and recommend medical network development opportunities aligned with Prudential's health strategy, using business analysis, competitive benchmarking, network coverage and specialty reviews.
• Support key improvement initiatives by gathering user requirements, maintain business continuity with administrative support, and support ad hoc projects and propositions.

Required profile

• Degree holder with experience in medical network, clinical or healthcare operations.
• At least 3 years managing contract negotiations with medical network providers.
• Experience in health insurance, the healthcare provider market or project management is an advantage.

Required skills

• Good negotiation and communication skills with strong business acumen.
• Good command of written and spoken English and Cantonese; Mandarin is an advantage.
