About the role
The Assistant Manager (Social & Elderly Wellness) will lead the planning, implementation, and monitoring of health and wellness services at the Healthy Ageing Hub. This role supports the corporate strategy by delivering fitness programmes, rehabilitation advice, and community‑based wellness initiatives for tenants, hub members, and residents of subsidised sales flats.
Key responsibilities
- Develop operational objectives, plans, and policies for health and wellness services.
- Design, promote, and manage fitness and wellness programmes for tenants, hub members, and subsidised‑flat residents.
- Track expenditures, monitor budgets, and ensure timely delivery of outcomes.
- Provide professional rehabilitation advice, health education, individual assessments, and consultations.
- Conduct needs assessments and strategic analysis to create programmes that support physical and mental wellbeing.
- Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to implement health and wellness initiatives.
- Drive membership growth, manage customer‑service platforms and mobile apps, and leverage technology for improved user experience.
- Build and maintain positive relationships with hub members and relevant parties.
- Undertake additional duties as assigned to support hub operations.
Required profile
- Recognised degree in Health Science, Sports Medicine, or a related discipline (preferred).
- At least 5 years of experience in wellness or health‑club operations, especially in community‑based or elderly/geriatric settings.
- Experience delivering programmes related to chronic disease management (advantageous).
- Self‑motivated, proactive, and positive attitude.
- Strong customer‑service orientation and excellent interpersonal skills.
- Team player with a collaborative mindset.
- Ability to independently plan and organise wellness activities and programmes.
- Excellent written and spoken English and Chinese communication skills.
- Detail‑oriented, mature, and committed to service excellence.
