Assistant Manager, Social Media and AI Content

About the role

We are seeking an Assistant Manager to lead social media and AI‑driven content initiatives for HKPC. Reporting to the Senior Manager of Social Intelligence and AI Transformation, you will help shape digital communications that translate technology and innovation into engaging stories.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, create and publish content across HKPC’s social and digital platforms, tailoring messages for each channel.
• Introduce and manage AI‑enabled tools for content creation, workflow automation and performance analytics.
• Conduct social listening, audience analysis and issue monitoring to provide insights for communications planning.
• Collaborate with communications, business and specialist teams to develop integrated campaigns aligned with organisational priorities.
• Leverage existing media coverage, leadership messages, project updates and event material to maximise impact.
• Measure content performance, generate reports and use data‑driven recommendations to improve outcomes.
• Explore emerging communication formats and share best practices across the team.
• Ensure responsible use of AI and data, adhering to governance and accuracy standards.

Required profile

• Recognised degree in communications, journalism, digital media, marketing, technology, AI or related field.
• Minimum six years of experience in social media, digital communications, content development or technology communications.
• Strong storytelling ability to simplify complex topics for diverse audiences.
• Interest in AI, digital platforms and audience behaviour with a curiosity to adopt new approaches.
• Excellent written and spoken English and Chinese (Cantonese and Putonghua).
• Proactive, collaborative mindset with a commitment to high‑quality delivery.
