Assistant Sales Manager

About the role

The Assistant Sales Manager will support the hotel’s sales strategy by building strong relationships with buyers, analysing market trends, and driving revenue growth. This role works closely with the leadership team to expand market share and deliver exceptional service to clients.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain hotel business through proactive outreach and partnership building.
• Analyze customer situations, market intelligence, economic trends, and competitor activities.
• Achieve personal and team sales targets by delivering service excellence.
• Collaborate with hotel leadership to create and execute a strategic plan for market share growth.
• Support departmental duties in line with company strategies and brand standards.

Required profile

• A relevant degree in business or a related field.
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience as a sales representative in the hotel industry.
• Highly motivated, target‑driven, and proven sales track record.
• Strong business sense with excellent account‑servicing abilities.
• Self‑motivated, detail‑oriented, and a good team player.
• Effective prioritising, time‑management, and organisational skills.
• Passion for hospitality.
