Associate Manager Graphic Design

About the role

The Associate Manager Graphic Design will partner with the Senior Design Manager to drive excellence across packaging and graphic design. This hands‑on leader will guide a small, high‑performing team while bridging creative strategy with production realities.

Key responsibilities

• Lead, mentor, and develop a small team of graphic designers, ensuring performance objectives are met.
• Build strong relationships with internal partners (Product Development, Engineering, Costing) and external licensor stakeholders.
• Foster a high‑energy, collaborative studio culture and model a growth mindset.
• Optimize end‑to‑end design and packaging workflows, track timelines, and mitigate risks.
• Manage projects from concept through production, delivering high‑quality work on schedule.
• Ensure all graphic assets and packaging layouts comply with global licensor branding standards.
• Apply knowledge of toy/CPG industry trends and child‑safe packaging requirements where relevant.

Required profile

• Proven leadership experience in graphic or packaging design.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder‑management skills.
• Ability to translate business objectives into innovative creative solutions.
• Strong organizational skills with a focus on workflow efficiency and risk management.
• Understanding of licensor brand guidelines and toy industry standards.
