Base Maintenance Manager, Cabin

About the role

The Base Maintenance Manager – Cabin leads the cabin maintenance department at HAECO’s Hong Kong base, ensuring safety, quality, delivery, productivity and financial performance while developing capability and driving continuous improvement.

Key responsibilities

• Lead, plan and oversee cabin operations to meet safety, quality, delivery, productivity and cost targets.
• Monitor performance, implement corrective and preventive actions, and manage operational, quality and compliance risks.
• Ensure compliance with aviation authority, customer and company requirements, Safety Management System, and support audits and regulatory reviews.
• Collaborate with Production, Quality, Technical Services, Materials Management and customers to resolve cabin maintenance issues and improve performance.
• Drive process improvement, standardisation and digitalisation initiatives to enhance operational effectiveness and customer satisfaction.
• Coach and develop engineers and maintenance staff, strengthening capability, engagement and succession readiness.

Required profile

• Minimum 8 years of maintenance and management experience, preferably in the aviation industry.
• Proven knowledge of aircraft cabin maintenance, modification, retrofit, cabin systems and interior maintenance.
• Degree in engineering, business management or cabin modification project management is an advantage.
• Holder of an aircraft maintenance licence.
• Strong ability to lead a multicultural team.
