Boutique Operations Manager

About the role

The Boutique Operations Manager will lead the day‑to‑day operational excellence of a Chanel boutique, ensuring that all processes, standards and compliance measures support an industry‑leading client experience.

Key responsibilities

• Uphold Chanel’s brand image by enforcing robust boutique SOPs covering housekeeping, visual merchandising, maintenance, staff grooming, asset protection and occupational health & safety.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to develop, update and apply pragmatic SOPs for daily operations.
• Plan and deliver regular briefings to boutique staff on operational topics and compliance requirements.
• Lead the Stock Team, CASS, boutique assistants, alteration staff (where applicable) and cashiers, ensuring adherence to sales, discount, transfer and after‑sales procedures.
• Manage team rosters, vendor relationships and boutique procurement matters.
• Oversee accurate daily sales reporting and related paperwork.
• Address operational issues promptly and work with stakeholders to clarify unclear processes.

Required profile

• Proven leadership experience in luxury retail or boutique environments.
• Strong understanding of SOP compliance, asset protection and occupational health & safety standards.
• Ability to train and motivate fashion advisors and boutique staff to represent the brand effectively.
• Excellent organizational skills with a focus on detail and operational efficiency.
