Building Services Engineer

About the role

Arup is seeking a Building Services Engineer to lead the design, coordination and site supervision of building services for high‑rise projects. You will work within a collaborative, values‑driven environment to deliver socially useful and technically robust solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and produce building services engineering designs for new construction projects.
• Provide on‑site supervision of mechanical, electrical and related installations.
• Coordinate design efforts across disciplines and act as liaison with contractors and clients.
• Ensure compliance with project specifications, local regulations and client requirements.

Required profile

• Corporate Membership of the Hong Kong Institution of Engineers (HKIE) in Mechanical, Electrical or Building Services Engineering, or equivalent.
• Qualified at Grade E or above in Chinese and English language examinations (HKCEE/HKDSEE) or equivalent.
• Post‑qualification experience in design and/or site supervision of building services installations for high‑rise buildings (minimum 30 storeys) or projects acceptable to the Hong Kong Housing Authority.
