Business Development Manager – Health Technology

About the role

VALD is looking for a former Physical Therapist or Strength & Conditioning Coach to transition into a Business Development Manager position. You will leverage your clinical expertise to promote VALD’s human‑measurement technology to allied‑health and performance clients worldwide.

Key responsibilities

• Attend industry conferences and deliver product demonstrations both in‑person and via teleconference.
• Set up and oversee product trials, nurture new leads and identify fresh business opportunities.
• Use an education‑based sales approach to explain VALD’s systems and their value to clients.
• Travel to client sites and represent VALD at events across multiple regions.
• Maintain sales pipeline reporting and collaborate with distributors.

Required profile

• Previous experience as a physiotherapist, physical therapist, or strength & conditioning coach.
• Excellent communication skills across calls, meetings and written reports.
• Comfortable targeting and acquiring new clients.
• Willingness to travel regularly for client meetings and conferences.
• Self‑starter attitude with accountability for meeting sales targets.
• Residency in Hong Kong and fluency in Mandarin/Cantonese and English.

Required skills

• Proficiency with CRM software.
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office 365 suite.
