Business Intelligence Co-op Internship (6 Months)

About the role

Manulife is recruiting a 6-month Business Intelligence co-op for its H1 2027 intake (January 2027 to June 2027). The intern supports business intelligence and digital transformation initiatives through data analysis, dashboard development and stakeholder engagement, working closely with business partners to gather requirements, validate data and generate insights that support decision-making. Applications close on Sunday, November 1, 2026, and are reviewed on a rolling basis.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct focus groups and consolidate business feedback to identify process improvement opportunities.
• Gather, analyze and document business requirements to support solution design and implementation.
• Assist in dashboard development and User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
• Prepare communication, launch and training materials for projects.
• Support Power BI dashboard enhancements and performance monitoring.
• Carry out data validation and quality assurance.
• Prepare business insights, reports and presentations for management review.

Required profile

• Currently pursuing an undergraduate degree in any discipline.
• Positive learning attitude and strong interest in Business Intelligence, Data Analytics and digital solutions.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, able to collaborate with stakeholders across functions and levels.
• Analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities independently.

Required skills

• Power BI, Excel, SQL, Tableau, Python or other data analytics and visualization tools are an asset.
• Previous experience in business analysis, data analytics or digital solutions is an advantage.
