Business Unit Head – Lead a FinTech Business Unit

About the role

The Business Unit Head will own the end‑to‑end P&L, product strategy and execution for a new business line in Hong Kong. You will shape the vision, build the team and drive growth, revenue and profitability in a fast‑moving fintech environment.

Key responsibilities

• Define business strategy, set targets and own overall performance of the unit.
• Identify customer needs and commercial opportunities, decide which products and features to build.
• Work closely with product, engineering and design teams to launch new offerings.
• Recruit, coach and manage a high‑performing team, setting clear goals and monitoring performance.
• Drive user growth, engagement, revenue and profitability through data‑driven initiatives.
• Establish partnerships and operational processes required to scale the business.
• Make rapid decisions, solve problems directly and own execution from idea to results.

Required profile

• Proven track record building, launching or scaling a product, business or business unit.
• Experience owning P&L, revenue growth or other measurable business outcomes.
• Strong product and commercial judgement with ability to work across product, engineering, operations and commercial functions.
• Demonstrated ability to build and lead high‑performing teams.
• Hands‑on approach, comfortable moving between strategy and detailed execution.
